Phase Quilt 2

Hello Friends!

As mentioned in an earlier post I pattern tested this Phase Quilt pattern for Modern Handcraft. I did this one recently in twin size. The colors are a pretty dark blue with shades of gray. I think it came out beautifully. I love it so much that I’m thinking it is going on the bed in the spare bedroom of my house!

I used Urban Elementz Midnight Sparkle edge to edge pattern. It gives the effect of the stars and the sky over the moon phases. For someone who is obsessed with the moon I really love this quilt. What do you think of it?

And more importantly how are you doing? This Virus and what I call House arrest is starting to get to a lot of people. I have my waves that come too of pure anxiety. Listening to the news I get the overwhelming feeling that I am going to get this. So, I try and not listen to the news too much. I try and keep myself busy sewing or reading. I am making sure I get outside too for some fresh air. I think that is really important, especially if you deal with anxiety.

I do hope you are all doing good and we here at Lavender Fields send you all loving vibes!!

Love

Lisa

Phase Quilt Test Pattern

Hello Friends!

I was able to test a new pattern being released by Modern Handcraft. The Pattern is called Phase. Oh my loved every minute of it. I love doing curves and I love love the moon. The pattern is super easy to understand and Nicole has lots of tutorials on doing curves. I am currently working on another one that is large. This one is throw size. I used the edge to edge design called City of Light from Karlee Porter Designs. It turned out beautiful and is now hanging on my quilt rack above my stairs. You can get the pattern here.

We hope that you are all doing well with the Corona Virus quarantine. I know it is very unsettling right now so our suggestion is find something that you love to do and concentrate on that. We are also working on our spring cleaning! Not as much fun as quilting but hey at least it will be done once we get released to be back out in the wild!

Lots of love and peace,

Lisa
